Open Hand partners with WIC Districts to implement Cooking Matters, a hands-on nutrition education and cooking curriculum.


This includes one Cooking Matters class per month, pop-up store tours, and a social marketing for healthy eating program comprised of 1) a series of edutainment videos on healthy eating and 2) the Eat Brighter Fruit and Vegetable promotion program developed by Sesame Street and Produce Marketing Association (PMA).

Cooking Matters at the Store for WIC Parents is also conducted via pop-up tours at WIC clinics.
